Dual enrollment students are required to complete 的 online orientation modules (located in 的 shortcut menu in 的ir myEGSC portal) prior to 的ir first semester of Dual 注册类. 这 can be completed at your own pace once you have been admitted. In为mation will be provided by 双录取 coordinator.

All students in 的 dual enrollment program 必须 meet 为 advisement each semester. One purpose of advisement is to ensure that students are enrolling in classes approved by 的ir high school counselor to meet graduation requirements. A key part of advisement also includes 的 opportunity to discuss majors 和 plans 为 的 future.
After you have been accepted by 招生 you will receive an email sent to 的 email address that you used when you applied to East Georgia with in为mation on how to sign up 为 advisement.
Make sure you have done 的 following 之前 signing up 为 your New Student 双录取 深思熟虑 Appointment:
- Met with your high school counselor to discuss your dual enrollment course plan. 你的 high school counselor 必须 submit your 通过课程 之前 you sign up 为 your new student advisement appointment with your 双录取 Academic 顾问.
- Completed 的 student 和 parent/guardian portions of 的 GAFutures funding application. 这 必须 be completed prior to scheduling your appointment with 的 双录取 Coordinator.

All 双录取 students will have an 顾问 持有 on 的ir account to ensure that 的 student meets with 的 双录取 Coordinator
each concurrent semester 为 proper registration. 学生 are NOT permitted to self-register
to ensure correct courses are being taken.
IMPORTANT: If any changes are made to 的 course schedule after courses have been approved, 的 high school counselor 必须 ensure schedule is updated at EGSC. 学生 are not permitted to withdraw from a currently enrolled course without prior approval from 的ir high school counselor verifying if 的 course will affect 的ir high school graduation requirements.

教科书
学生 participating in 的 dual enrollment program are provided textbook rentals 为 通过课程 不花钱. Textbook rentals are not provided 为 optional texts or 为 courses outside of 的 approved course list. 教科书 will not be provided 为 repeated courses. Textbook rentals 必须 be returned to 的 library at 的 end of each semester in good condition to avoid fees. 学生 are allowed to write in lab manuals.
If you are unsure if 的 program will cover 的 cost of 的 required course material 请联系 梅根·% 20人员 in 的 library prior to purchasing. Course materials 必须 be purchased from 的 bookstore in order 为 refunds to be issued.
Be on 的 lookout 为 an email from 的 DE coordinator 为 specifics on textbook rental 和 pickup timelines. 学生 may pick up textbooks 和/or online access codes from 的 EGSC 图书馆 in Swainsboro. Please note that students 必须 bring 的ir Bobcat ID card to pick up 的ir textbooks.
